Student mobility between Latin American and European universities is so far based on personal contacts and is characterized by a lack of mutual cooperation between teaching staff. The Alfa programme will be an opportunity to improve that situation. It can profit from the partners’ practical knowledge of the different academic systems. Our main proposal is to develop a harmonisation of the Curricula by certification of degrees and diplomas. This will be attained by a shared Master programme eventually leading to a PhD degree - Graduate Programme in the Social Dynamics of Health -developed according to high teaching and evaluation quality patterns.

Coordinated by Évora University, the project has the following partners:

  • Universidade de Évora, Portugal
  • École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, France
  • El Colegio de México, México
  • Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brasil
  • Universidad de Granada, Spain
  • Universidade de La Habana, Cuba
  • Universidad Nacional de Luján, Argentina
  • Universidade Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Peru
  • University of Linköping, Sweden
  • University of Mannheim, Germany
  • Asociación Médica Argantina (associated partner), Argetina
